To The Max

Sundiata Enuke has been a major contributor to Viewpoint's film program since 9th grade, though her passion for film began much earlier. Her talent has earned her numerous awards and accolades including YoungArts, Calabasas Film Festival, and the All American High School Film Festival. She has presented her work at the Huntington Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. As the writer and director of To The Max, Sundiata has driven both the creative and narrative direction of the film. This fall, she will attend USC to further her studies in film and cinematic arts.

Eden Spalding

Eden Spalding joined Viewpoint's film program as a freshman, engaging in writing, directing, and editing. This year, she served as Assistant Director for the Film IV project, To The Max, where she played a crucial role in organizing pre-production and managing on-set shoots. This fall, Eden will be attending UC Berkeley to pursue her passion for film and explore a second major in political economics.

Morgan Washington has been an integral part of Viewpoint School's film and photography programs since 8th grade, specializing in cinematography, camera operation, and photography. As the cinematographer for this year's Film IV project, To The Max, she played a key role in the film's visual production, working closely with the director to shape the films image and creative direction. This fall, Morgan will be attending UC Berkeley to further her studies in film and theory while pursuing a Pre-Law track.

Dylan De Cesare has been an active member of the Viewpoint film community since 7th grade. He has been involved in Film classes, particularly within writing, directing, and producing. In this year’s Film IV, he took the role of producer, helping organize the production of To The Max. He has also taken his film background to his other interests of Documentary and Sports Media. He is extremely grateful for everything that film has done for him, as he hopes to take those techniques towards his future within Journalism at the University of Oregon.

Maddy Grimes-Wayne’s dream of becoming a YouTuber ignited their passion for film. In the Film IV project, To The Max, they took on the role of gaffer, gaining valuable experience beyond their primary focus on screenwriting. Maddy also composed the original soundtrack, blending their love for music with film. They are grateful for the learning experiences on this project, especially from Sundiata and the rest of the crew. This fall, Maddy will attend The New School in NYC to further their studies in film and writing.
